This question comes up ALL the time. There is no need to have music ability- the key word in music therapy is accessibility. It’s my job to make sure the music is usable for you! Leave the pressure to me.

In: we use music to guide the processing in session. It tends to be more of the listening to music route.
As: music is the primary therapeutic tool. Meaning, we make music together to support change.

Writing how things feel and turning it into a song
Playing instruments to express feelings.

I use a strengths-based approach, meaning, I believe that you have the tools to help overcome your stressors. My primary framework is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, where I focus on your values to help guide you through the therapeutic process.
For Ages: 10 and up

I offer Couples Therapy through the Gottman Method. I work with couples experiencing communication difficulties and fighting. I help you find patterns and develop insight so your relationship can feel back on track.
